tendrils – a poem

May 28, 2010

Tendrils.
Elegantly drifting from perfectly upswept hair and
Nestling gently against soft skin.
Delicate green curlicues enbracing garden arbor.
Rustling leaf skeletons dancing in late autumn breeze.
Icy fingers of fog creeping along ragged fence line.
Lonely wispy threads on well-worn woollen scarf.
Silky vines silently suck life from mighty tree trunk.

Tendrils.
