one of my typical unplanned days!

June 3, 2009

What did I do this morning?  Leisurely got up and breakfast etc.  Go walkabout with my son.  Set up the room divider out on the front porch to create a shady spot for the Adirondack chair.  Go with hubby to Timmy’s for coffee (for him) as it is their “Camp Day.”  …. walking about first, we ran in to ____, so had coffee with her too.  Got hubby, son and myself each a large McD root beer as they have a special on any size pop for $1.  Hubby of course also got some food!  Can’t resist!  I sat down to do my Bible reading, then was just going to write down a couple scriptures when my daughter and family came over.  My daughter went to the Learning Center and then to get groceries, while her hubby and and my son took down our gazebo.  I took the baby for a walk uptown and to the park, then home and changed and fed him, then played with him, rolling a ball back and forth, which he loves!  Then we went outside to watch the guys working on the gazebo.  My son held baby for a few minutes while I cleaned up the gazebo area, then I was holding him and he fell asleep on my lap for probably half an hour outside, till my daughter came back and took him inside.  Visited with them, made supper at ate, cleaned up, checked news, etc…. and came out here to my shady new corner on the porch to write this!  Oh yes!  I also did my back exercises, and even some weights!  Body is kind of sore/tired…. guess I’ll skip the uphill grades on my walk tonight… maybe try a new route on the flats.

…. later…. So after hubby went to work (about 6;45 pm) I decided to go walkabout – down to the beach, along the beach to the SS Sicamous where I looked at the signs for the different boats being restored there, then through the Rose Gardens, along by the “Loco” minigolf place, past the skateboard park, back along the channel to the Rose Gardens and then back along the beach all the way home.  Must have been over an hour.  Then I tidied up the tarp, bikes, lawn mower etc in the side yard, and watered all the lawns and garden.  Then into the house to open up the windows and doors (another hot day today!)

….  And that, for those of you who ask, “But what do you DO?” … is a typical day in my life (almost totally unplanned; no typical days for me, but everyday an adventure with Papa!)
